About Us

Lifewise is a non-profit organization in Newfoundland and Labrador, created by and for individuals living with mental health and addiction challenges. Our mission is to inspire hope and support recovery through peer support, education, and community engagement. We work to reduce stigma, combat isolation, promote self-determination, and amplify the voices of those with lived experience.

At the heart of our work is peer support, a non-clinical, mutual relationship grounded in shared experience. Our trained Peer Supporters walk alongside others on their recovery journeys, offering empathy, connection, and understanding.
