About Us

Commissionaires Newfoundland and Labrador (CNL) is a trusted provider of professional security services with over 75 years of experience delivering onsite guard services to government departments, law enforcement partners, public service agencies, and private organizations throughout the province.

As a not-for profit security provider with a social mandate to provide meaningful employment to veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP, and others who wish to contribute to the security and well-being of Canadians, we combine professionalism, reliability, and community-focused service delivery.

CNL currently delivers:
• Onsite security for government offices and public buildings.
• Security screening and access control services.
• Patrol services and incident response; and
• Front desk and client facing security roles requiring deescalation and customer service.

As part of a larger federation, CNL shares a common brand and our unique social mandate with 13 other divisions and draws on this depth and breadth of experience while still maintaining our status as a true Newfoundland and Labrador company.
