State of the Province 2026
The Board of Trade is pleased to host the 2026 State of the Province Address to the business community by the Honourable Tony Wakeham, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, on October 14 at the JAG SoundHouse.
As Premier Wakeham enters his second year in office, Newfoundland and Labrador is seizing energy and resource development opportunities on the horizon, navigating an evolving trade environment, and facing important decisions ahead for our economy. The coming year has the potential to shape the province’s future for years to come. During his address, Premier Wakeham will share his government’s vision and priorities for Newfoundland and Labrador, including the opportunities and challenges shaping our economic future and what they mean for businesses and communities across the province.
